i saw beach house a few months ago in san francisco. they put on a great show... the girl is the star though, she has a huge future in front of her. the guitar guy is OK but she definitely doesn't need him to hit the big time. her voice is one of the best i've heard - she could have easily been reedy and timid but she *belted* out all the songs. (compare to neko case) good stuff.
